To Write

Writing is an art changing in distinct and radical ways. The various mediums used once--the purest of writing form--have transformed into something unrecognizable to the most traditional of writers. But, as writing changes, so too must the writer. Once, pen and paper reigned but no more. Today, pen and paper take the form of keyboard and screen. The ink and pure papyrus of times long ago have gone, and in their stead remain typed letter and computer paper.

But what hasn't changed is the natural importance of the written word. What hasn't changed is the simple beauty of each punctuation mark tethering letter to word, word to sentence, and sentence to paragraph. The medium has changed, but the dissemination of idea has eased. What took months and years to develop before can now be projected to millions with the click of a button, and in mere seconds.

It is my strongly held belief that it is up to each person to develop a personal philosophy on life, and those who find themselves successful in doing so can enjoy the simple purity in life. I will expound upon my own philosophy, not as a means of garnering followers, but to encourage others to develop their own. Take each word as not an order, but a platform to jump from into the sea of thought that each day provides us, an abundant resource before us.

In this blog, I hope to keep readers busy with my thoughts and my philosophy, my ideas and my banter. I will comment on topics of all nature, and provide updates as to any published work I have to offer.

Enjoy.
